# Content limit FAQs

### What types of content limits come with my subscription?

WRITER plans have 3 types of content limits.

- **Words checked**: the number of words checked against your style guide. This includes all content where WRITER is providing suggestions, in the WRITER agent and in the plugins.

- **Words generated**: the number of words generated through generative AI features, including out-of-the-box agents. Agents are available on Enterprise and Team plans.

- **Recordings**: the number of recordings processed by the [recaps](https://support.writer.com/article/203-cowrite-template-guide-recaps) agent.

### What are the content limits for each subscription type?

### Where can I find my word count balance?

If you're an Admin user, go to the [Billing page](http://app.writer.com/admin/billing) in the Admin menu. Under **Usage**, you'll find the number of words you've checked this month, and the progress to your monthly limit in the bar line labeled "words checked."

If you're on a plan that includes generative AI agents and rewrite, you'll also find the progress to your monthly allowance in the bar line labeled "words generated."

### Is there a limit on the amount of content I can check at one time?

In the [WRITER agent](https://app.writer.com/), a single document can be up to 10,000 words long. If you have longer content, you'll need to break it up into multiple documents.

The [WRITER plugins](https://support.writer.com/category/59-using-writer-apps) can check a maximum of approximately 18,000 words at one time. If you are checking a longer document, WRITER will only check the first ~18,000 words. To check the rest of your content, you'll need to break it up into multiple documents.

The [Figma plugin](https://support.writer.com/article/22-writer-for-figma) can check a maximum of approximately 1,000 text areas. If you select a section of a file that has more text areas, WRITER will only check the first ~1,000.

### What kind of content counts towards words generated?

_Words generated_ includes text generated by all of our agents, including our Ask WRITER, blog builder, and recaps agents. This limit also counts words generated by keep writing and commands outputs.
